Last March 22nd, SimtechPro was present with some of his racing simulators in the presentation made by Pepe Oriola in Carpe Diem of the new Cupra that will run the World Touring Cars (WTCR) with Campos Racing Team. The event was presented by Miss Spain Sofia del Prado and journalist Judit Florensa, and featured the presence of personalities from the spanish world of Motor as, Marcello Lotti, Manuel Aviñó, Joan Ollé or the sports director of RACC Aman Barfull.

 

Our team was enlivening the evening of the guests with a Simbase 327 racing simulator, equipped with the new steering wheel TS PC Racer Thrustmaster ©, and artisan pedals ARC Team, in addition to a Cockpit with movement and a OMP Backet. The guests were able to enjoy races with an Oculus © Virtual reality headset, for a total immersive experience.

SimtechPro collaborates since its beginnings with Pepe Oriola, Spanish motor racing driver who became the youngest driver in history to participate in a race of the World Touring Car Championship in 2011. He is also the youngest driver in history to get a podium in the World Cup, after being 2nd in the second race of the GP of Portugal, at the International Speedway of Algarve, June 4, 2012.

The World Cup of Tourism 2018 (WTCR) will adopt the technical regulations of the old TCR International Series Championship for the next two seasons. The first test is in Marrakech, April 7th and 8th. In this scenario, Pepe Oriola won for the first time in WTCC (World Touring Championships).
